Savoury
of Thyme Broad Beans with Ham

Ingredients
454g Broad Beans
150ml Cream
6 slices of good smoked ham (not cut too thin)
3 tablespoons snipped fresh Savoury or Thyme
1 tablespoon fresh Savoury of Thyme for garnish
Freshly ground peppercorns & salt for seasoning
Method
- Boil beans in salty water until just tender
- Drain and return to pan
- Over a gentle heat pour in the cream
- Add snipped savoury or thyme to taste
- Place a slice of ham on each plate
- Pour creamed beans on one half of the ham & cover with the other
half
- Garnish with savoury or thyme & serve with jacket potato or crusty
bread
