Lemon Broad
Beans
Ingredients
1-2 shelled broad beans
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Freshly ground black pepper
Method
- Gently simmer the beans for 10 minutes in a pan of salted water
- Drain and allow the beans to cool
- Carefully peel off the white outer skin of each bean
- Squeeze over the lemon juice and season with black pepper
- Serve as a salad accompaniment
