Volunteers meeting - 2pm Monday 6th February

HOPE is going through some radical changes and we are looking for more volunteers to help achieve our aims. We recently asked current and former volunteers for their views via a questionnaire, and this meeting is the second stage of the process. The meeting will be at the Volunteer Centre Angus, Guthrie Port, Arbroath, and will go for no more than 2 hours. At the meeting there will be feedback from the questionnaire and the opportunity to contribute your thoughts about how we can recruit more volunteers.

H.O.P.E. Garden shop opening spring 2012 - looking for volunteers

We have decided to open a shop at the garden now that our vegetable box scheme is no longer operating. We plan to sell fresh produce and plants. The shop will be open 10am-4pm Monday-Friday, and we are looking for volunteers to staff the shop in 3-hour shifts (10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm). Please contact the garden staff or Cedric de Voil (email cedric@hopegardentrust.org.uk) if you're interested in being involved.Volunteers should be willing to go through the disclosures procedure, as they will be expected to supervise some of the trainees in the shop in the mornings.
